“A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.” Ephesians 6:10-11
If we do anything for the Lord, Satan will fight us. He will fight us in all areas of our lives. Satan has been fighting me for the last couple of months. When Satan fights as hard as he has been fighting me, I know that God is about to move in a might way. The main way that he fights us is by telling us lies; just like he did in the Garden of Eden. The lie that he tells me is, why do you write devotions and books? No one cares and you are not helping anyone. He makes me want to doubt God and the call that God has put on my life. He wants me to give up. I should know better, this has been his lie to me for the past forty years. Satan wants to defeat us in our work for God. If we continue to listen to him, we will at some point believe him. Don’t believe the lies of Satan! He is defeated and all he can do is imitate. When Jesus died on the Cross and rose from the dead, Satan lost the war and Jesus won. Paul tells us how we can fight Satan and win. “For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.” (Ephesians 6:12-13) Please read : Ephesians 6:10-18
